The Cape Winds Merlot is a medium-bodied, fruity wine. Lightly oaked full bodied wine with strawberry and black berry notes on the nose and a rich fruity palate with balanced tannins that ensure easy drinking.
Bright ruby in colour with a light red rim. A melange of aromas permeates the nose, showing truffles, forest floor, violets, plums and cherry. The palate is medium-bodied, reeling juicy fruit, wonderful texture, fine grained tannins and a silky finish.
The nose seduces with beautiful ripe blackberry and dried fruit aromas along with spicy undertones. This wine is well structured with elegance and mouth filling fruit flavours. Hints of cedar wood, mint and spice flavours follow through on the palate. This is a rich wine that is ready to be enjoyed now, but will last for years to come.
Medium to full-bodied wine with sweet fruits on palate, rounded off with silky tannins and a full mouth feel that has a prolonged after taste. Perfectly paired with rich meat dishes prepared plainly with hints of rosemary and thyme.
This wine is smooth, elegant and juicy. It has aromas of raspberry, black olive, crushed herbs and cigar box. The prominent tannin structure carries hints of sweet, cedary oak on the palate that flows seamlessly into a fresh, lingering finish.

This Merlot is designated a Pays d’Oc Protected Geographical Indication wine. The particular character of this wine is derived from its region of origin, the Languedoc, whose climate is predominantly Mediterranean with very hot, dry summers and mild autumns, winters and springs. Selection is a key stage in the production process, providing us with grapes from which we can draw out jammy, as well as crisp, pungent fruity aromas.

At first glance, Roche Mazet Merlot attracts the eye with its lovely intense almost dark red colour with purple and violet tints. It is elegant on the nose with aromas of fresh and jammy red fruit, and hints of cherry and blackberry. On the palate, the red fruit aromas team up with spicy and chocolate notes, wrapped up in velvety tannins. The slightly woody Merlot fruit is round and delicate and literally fills the mouth.
